Henry David Thoreau once said “Heaven is under our feet as well as over our heads.” And if that really is the case, then this place serves up heaven on a plate!
Earth Cafe, in Seminyak, Bali is one of the best eateries I’ve been to abroad. Not only do they cater for vegetarians, vegans, coeliacs and raw foodies alike but their menu is absolutely bursting full of delicious dishes they would keep just about anyone full and happy, no matter your food and dietary quirks.
We loved this place so much, we ate here every day during our stay. Without a doubt, my favourite items on the menu were their buckwheat pancakes with fresh fruit (I suffered serious food envy one morning when Sarah ordered this breakfast delight, so made up for it the next day) and the young coconut – fresh coconut water straight from the source and for just $1.80!!!
Aside from the yummy food, free wifi and inspirational quotes on their placemats, this place also has a small shop section selling all natural body care, clothing and packaged food/ingredients. They have fridges packed full of delicious raw treats, and booklets on adventure sports and yoga in the area should you be on the lookout for ideas.
Should you be find yourself in town, I cannot recommend this place enough!
