Thrill seekers and adrenalin junkies alike all know that New Zealand delivers the goods. As well as the stunning scenery, exceptional food and welcoming people this country is known for it’s ability to thrill.

For me, a place that can offer up all of this is pure gold. While being a little cautious in some respect, ever since I was little I’ve tested my limits – try anything once, right?! This has allowed me to grow and learn a lot about myself, gaining so much from pushing boundaries and stepping outside of my comfort zone.

I’ve jumped out of a plane at 15,000ft, bungeed from 1,600m at Kea Rock, jumped 8m from rocky cliffs into the stunning Mediterranean waters off Ios, and experienced as many high thrill rides at theme parks as I possibly could have.

This time, it was Ashlea’s turn to jump with Skydive Wanaka, while the both of us took a deep breath and swung low over the canyon floor on the biggest swing in the world – the Nevis Swing! Top that off with a few runs down the Skyline Luge and some sensational spins in the K-Jet along the Kawarau River and we were thrilled right down to our toes!
